Kriv Stenders Directs New Australian Country Music Film

Director Kriv Stenders is set to helm "Little Miracles," a new country music feature film. This Australian project is a collaboration between Bronte Studios and First Option Pictures, with production scheduled to commence in 2026. The screenplay is by Steve Worland and Jeremy Sims, based on an original concept by Mark Morrissey.

"Country music is the backbone of Australian storytelling. Australia is the world's third-largest country music market, yet it's rarely seen on our screens," stated the producers. They believe Stenders, known for films like "Red Dog," is the ideal choice to bring this story to life, celebrating the power of songs to unite people.

David Hirschfelder, acclaimed composer for "Australia" and "The Dressmaker," will serve as music director and composer. Rialto Distribution has secured the theatrical distribution rights for Australia, promising a wide release. Further casting and production details are anticipated as the 2026 shoot date approaches.
