The Gala, presented by Paul Mitchell in West Hollywood, was a resounding success, raising $18 million to support Baby2Baby's mission of providing essential items, including diapers, formula, and clothing, to children living in poverty across the country. The event honored tennis superstar Serena Williams with the Giving Tree Award for her advocacy of maternal health, with Alicia Keys presenting the award.

The evening also featured a special performance by Ludacris, as well as appearances by other notable celebrities such as Ciara, Jessica Alba, and Olivia Munn. Additionally, Baby2Baby Co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof shared exciting news, including the organization's plans to build a new national headquarters and warehouse in Santa Monica, set to open in 2027.

Patricof also announced a recent $9 million grant from the state of New York to provide essential postpartum items to all 100,000 mothers giving birth on Medicaid across the state next year. This initiative aims to address the mental health struggles of new mothers who cannot afford the critical items they need for their babies, as mental health has become the leading cause of maternal mortality in the country.
