Prime Video is set to release 'The Challenger,' a new series inspired by Meredith E. Bagby's book 'The New Guys.' The show will chronicle the events surrounding the tragic 1986 Challenger disaster and the subsequent investigation.
Kristen Stewart is cast as Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, while Danny Huston will portray William Rogers, the investigation's leader. The ensemble includes Sofia Black D'Elia as Judy Resnik, Paul Sparks as Larry Mulloy, Boris McGiver as William Lucas, and Shea Whigham as Roger Boisjoly.
Will Arnett joins the cast as George Abbey, Director of Flight Crew Operations for NASA's Space Shuttle program.
