Kris Marshall's Balancing Act: Family vs. Solitude

Marshall's character, Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman, moved back from the Caribbean in the show, leading to the creation of Beyond Paradise, set in the fictional Shipton Abbott, filmed in the Cornish town of Looe. Beyond Paradise returns for its fourth series, continuing to explore themes influenced by folklore and Celtic traditions, set against the dramatic West Country landscape. Marshall has not ruled out a return to Death In Paradise for a guest appearance, stating that 'paradise is only paradise with people you love.'
