At the center of the narrative is Karunakaran, the head editor of a daily newspaper named Shabdham and a friend of the college principal. Karunakaran's life becomes intertwined with several others, including a young cartoonist named Nidhi. Conflicts also arise due to financial issues between Karunakaran and Premarajan, a political party president.
