Korean-American Singer Ejae Announces New Single "In Another World"

Korean-American singer-songwriter Ejae, who gained fame as the singing voice of Rumi in the popular series "KPop Demon Hunters," is set to release her new single "In Another World" on October 24, 2025. Ejae, whose real name is Kim Eun-jae, took to Instagram on October 4 to share the exciting news with her fans.

In her post, Ejae explained that the new single will "give life" to the songs she has written since her breakout success. She revealed that the process of writing "In Another World" helped her through a difficult time and she hopes that sharing the song can also help others. Ejae expressed her gratitude for the love and support she has received as both a songwriter and the voice behind the beloved character Rumi.

The former SM Entertainment trainee, who left the agency in 2011 to pursue songwriting in the US, has written several hit K-pop songs for top artists like Red Velvet, aespa, and Twice. She also penned the majority of the soundtrack for "KPop Demon Hunters." Despite her success behind the scenes, Ejae admitted that she never saw herself as a traditional "artist" until recently. However, she has now embraced the idea of using her songwriting as a means of self-expression and connecting with her audience.
