Rapper Kodak Black recently missed a scheduled performance in Midland, Texas, much to the disappointment of fans. His attorney, Bradford Cohen, clarified that the cancelation was due to unforeseen airplane issues. Kodak was initially set to fly from Florida, but when his planned flight encountered problems, alternative arrangements were made.
Unfortunately, by the time Kodak Black reached Texas, the original venue, Black Gold Event Center, was already closed for the night. Seeking to make amends for the canceled show, Kodak Black then made an unscheduled appearance at a different venue in the vicinity.
There, he delivered a free, impromptu performance for fans. The Black Gold Event Center has since issued a statement regarding the cancelation and informed attendees that any refund requests must be processed through the original ticket purchasing platform.
