'The Kitchen' to Serve Final Dish After 10 Years on Food Network

In a bittersweet announcement, Food Network has revealed that its long-running weekend cooking talk show "The Kitchen" will conclude this December after 10 years and over 40 seasons on the air. The Emmy-nominated series, co-hosted by a team of culinary personalities including Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and recurring guest Alex Guarnaschelli, debuted in January 2014 and will air its final episode on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

According to a source close to the production, the show's cancellation comes as the network is reevaluating its programming priorities heading into the new year's lineup. Additionally, the decision is tied to Warner Bros. Discovery's plans to restructure its business, splitting the linear TV channels from the streaming services and studio.

"For over a decade Sunny, Katie, Jeff, Geoffrey and more recently Alex have engaged audiences with their individual and distinct food sensibilities and sense of humor that together make 'The Kitchen' a delicious way to spend an hour," said Warner Bros. Discovery's head of food content, Betsy Ayala. "Everyone knows all good parties end up in 'The Kitchen,' where the conversation, laughs and food flow; the best parties probably end a little bit earlier then some guests would like, but we've got twelve years of memories and wanted to celebrate this team's hard work during one final holiday season."

Throughout its decade-long run, "The Kitchen" welcomed a diverse array of memorable guests, from actors and musicians to media personalities and celebrity chefs.
