Storms Asks for Privacy Amid Custody Dispute

Kirsten Storms, known for her role on General Hospital, has issued a statement concerning her daughter amidst a custody dispute with ex-husband Brandon Barash. Storms appealed for public understanding, noting that their daughter, Harper Rose, is now at an age where online searches about her parents are likely.

Storms, who split from Barash in 2016, has faced legal challenges, including an emergency restraining order filed by Barash in April. Barash also sought custody of their daughter in December 2025. The former couple had previously co-parented their child, relocating from California to Tennessee in 2025.

The actress shared how Harper has profoundly impacted her life, especially following her own health battles. She referenced a 2021 brain cyst and a 2025 brain aneurysm, stating these experiences heightened her awareness of life's preciousness and priorities.

Regarding her relationship with Barash, Storms acknowledged an ongoing situation that they hope to resolve soon. She characterized it as a disagreement between two ex-spouses, not a situation warranting excessive worry. Storms and Barash were married in 2013, having met on the set of General Hospital, and welcomed Harper in 2014.
