True Repertory Theatre is set to host "A Moment in Time," a special evening dedicated to celebrating the life of Neil Borden, a long-time friend of Artistic Director Don Sheehan. The performances will take place at The Beal House in Kingston on June 12-13 and June 19-20, with matinee shows on June 14 and June 20.
This tribute features music from Broadway and contemporary genres, born from Sheehan's desire to honor Borden's memory. The event will include entertainment, a cash bar, and raffle baskets. Proceeds will benefit The Ruth Gordon Amphitheatre and Boston Animal Care and Control, two charities that were significant to Borden.
Tickets are priced at $20, with organizers emphasizing the importance of keeping the event accessible to the entire community, especially given current economic conditions. "We wanted to ensure that everyone could afford an evening out with friends," stated Sheehan. The cast includes Sheehan, Debby Stratton, Charlie Siegener, Marybeth Cornwall, and Margot Duran, with musical direction by Jen Scott and Christian Black.
