Vincent D'Onofrio has clarified that his portrayal of Wilson 'Kingpin' Fisk will not be featured in the upcoming MCU film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. D'Onofrio mentioned that his character's appearance is contingent upon Marvel securing the rights and selecting a suitable film for his inclusion.
The actor is set to reprise his role as Kingpin in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. This series, developed by Marvel Television, is scheduled for a March 24 premiere on Disney+. D'Onofrio originally brought the formidable villain to life in the Netflix series Daredevil from 2015 to 2018.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, has recently completed filming. The movie, a prelude to Avengers: Doomsday, is slated for a July 31 theatrical release. It features Zendaya reprising her role as MJ, alongside new cast members Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas.
