This surprise conception happened before the couple had their first significant disagreement. Kardashian explained that she had stopped using birth control on medical advice after tests indicated a diminished egg supply.

Her initial pregnancy was fraught with difficulties, including bleeding that led her to fear a miscarriage. She also experienced symptoms of premature labor around six months into the term, ultimately giving birth about five and a half weeks early. During this period, Kardashian struggled with preeclampsia and placenta accreta, conditions that also affected her subsequent pregnancies.
