Reality Star's Heartbreak: Bid to Buy Late Dad's Bible Rejected

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian expressed her disappointment after learning that her attempt to purchase a cherished family heirloom had been thwarted. The reality star had offered $15,000 to acquire a Bible that her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., had gifted to his friend OJ Simpson.

However, the executor of OJ's estate, who was putting the keepsake up for auction following the athlete's death in 2024, rejected Kim's proposal. The Bible held significant sentimental value for the Kardashian family, as it included a handwritten inscription from Robert to OJ that read, "God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child and he will use you again."

Kim revealed that she would have been willing to negotiate and even pay up to $30,000 to bring the Bible back into the family's possession. Her younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, had also expressed interest in acquiring the special item.

"It's just really special," Kim said, explaining her desire to obtain the keepsake as a birthday gift for Khloe. Despite her disappointment, the reality star acknowledged that she may have had "a little too much faith in humanity" in her attempt to reclaim the cherished family heirloom.
