Kim Kardashian Shares Relationship Insights from Actress Sarah Paulson

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian, 45, discussed the close relationship she developed with actress Sarah Paulson, 50, while filming a new Hulu series together. Kim explained that being on set for 16 hours a day with a group of women allowed them to see each other's highs and lows, including how Kim copes with challenges in her personal life.

Sarah then shared a theory with Kim about how her long-standing fame and public scrutiny have affected her approach to relationships. Sarah pointed out that Kim has had to "shut down" and be more guarded to protect herself and her children from the increased attention. However, Sarah encouraged Kim to shift her mindset and be more open to finding love again.

"If you want to protect them, I just think there's something about being aware and savvy enough that, like, 'My goal is to calcify enough that I can take it and it doesn't matter what anybody says,'" Sarah advised Kim. "I'm actually wanting more for you of whatever the next romance of your life is for that to be able to bloom."

Kim acknowledged in the episode that she has had to "put up this wall to overprotect" herself, adding that the "root of healing takes longer." However, she expressed hope that when the right person comes along, she will be "so ready" to open herself up to love again.
