Before her relationship with Tupac, Kidada dated LL Cool J from 1992 to 1994. She and Tupac lived together for four months before his death, and she was present when he was shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, staying by his side in the hospital until he passed six days later.
Following Tupac's death, she dated Leonardo DiCaprio in 1999 and married Jeffrey Nash in 2003, divorcing in 2006. Kidada's mother passed away in May 2019, and her father died in November 2024.
