Kid Rock Used AI for Eminem Collab Choir

Kid Rock disclosed that the gospel choir featured on his song 'Heal My Faith,' a collaboration with Eminem, was created using artificial intelligence. This track is included on his latest album, 'Halfway 2 Jesus,' which was released recently.

During a discussion, Kid Rock explained that he used AI to generate the choir vocals because his regular singers were unavailable. He stated that he is an impatient person and prioritizes time, leading him to utilize AI for the harmonies and lead notes for the Southern gospel choir sound.

While acknowledging AI's unique challenges and potential dangers, Kid Rock expressed strong support for government regulation of the technology at the highest levels. He believes it requires strict oversight, comparing AI's impact to that of earlier musical innovations like drum machines.

The collaboration reunites the two longtime friends from Detroit, Eminem and Kid Rock, who maintain their friendship despite their divergent political stances. Eminem has previously stated their musical partnership was about collaborating with an old friend, not choosing sides.
