Kid Rock Charges $5K for Front-Row Tour Seats
19 Feb
Summary
- Kid Rock charges up to $5,000 for front-row tickets on his tour.
- Front-row seats are marketed as 'first-class' with no extra perks.
- Rock previously advocated for fair ticket prices with Donald Trump.

Kid Rock's "Freedom 250 Tour" is set to launch with a striking pricing strategy for its most coveted seats. The artist, formerly known as Robert James Ritchie, is charging up to $5,000 for front-row tickets in the center section of the venues. These premium seats are designated as 'first-class' on Ticketmaster, drawing a parallel to airline ticketing, though they do not appear to include any special perks.
Tickets for the second, third, and fourth rows in the center section are also priced significantly higher than general admission, ranging from $4,000 down to $2,000. In contrast, standard tickets for the main floor can cost around $500, with the cheapest seats available for approximately $50. This pricing model emerges as a stark contrast to Rock's previous public stance on ticket scalping.
Last year, Kid Rock joined then-President Donald Trump in the Oval Office to support an executive order aimed at ensuring fair ticket prices for fans and combating exploitative scalping practices. The order directed the Treasury Secretary and Attorney General to ensure scalpers report sales and comply with laws. Notably, the Justice Department has also been involved in legal action against Live Nation and Ticketmaster concerning alleged monopolistic practices in the industry.
