Sudeep explained that his comments stemmed from his commitment to fellow Kannadigas and Kannada cinema.
He lauded Yash's 'Toxic' as an unusual and commendable attempt, appreciating the effort to create something beyond predictable commercial formulas. Sudeep shared his personal view that such distinct endeavors require significant conviction and courage from filmmakers.
Addressing his own film career, Sudeep clarified that his hosting of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13, despite no film release this year, does not signify a diminished passion for cinema. He stated that his absence from films is not due to disinterest but often related to script development or personal circumstances.
Currently, Sudeep is actively involved in shooting 'Billa Ranga Baashaa,' an ambitious futuristic action drama directed by Anup Bhandari. The film is slated for a late 2027 release. Conveniently, the 'Billa Ranga Baashaa' set is located just 15 minutes from the Bigg Boss house, enabling him to manage both projects effectively.
