Khushi Kapoor and Karishma Tanna to Lead Emotional 'Mom 2' Sequel

In a highly anticipated move, the sequel to the acclaimed 2017 film 'Mom' is now in the works. Titled 'Mom 2', the new project is set to feature a powerful duo of actors - Khushi Kapoor and Karishma Tanna.

While the original 'Mom' starred Sridevi in a National Award-winning performance, the sequel will not be a direct continuation of the story. Instead, it will present a fresh narrative that aims to capture the essence of the first film's themes of justice and resilience. The new project will introduce new characters and explore a modern approach to these underlying concepts.

Boney Kapoor, the producer behind the original 'Mom', is also involved in the sequel. According to reports, 'Mom 2' is an emotionally layered and dynamic film that will showcase the intense emotional depth of Karishma Tanna alongside the refreshing energy of Khushi Kapoor. This chemistry between the two lead actresses is expected to be a key highlight of the upcoming movie.

The film will be directed by Girish Kohli, who has previously worked on the writing for the first 'Mom' as well as other acclaimed projects like 'Kesari' and 'HIT: The First Case'. With a strong creative team and a talented cast, 'Mom 2' is poised to build on the legacy of the original while delivering a compelling and contemporary narrative to audiences.
