Khazana - A Festival of Ghazals recently marked its Silver Jubilee with two evenings dedicated to the timeless beauty of ghazal music. This landmark 25th edition successfully united established Indian music veterans with emerging talents, demonstrating the genre's enduring appeal and its promising future.
The festival featured memorable performances by renowned artists including Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Rekha Bhardwaj, and Javed Ali. Notably, the event opened each evening with musical medleys honoring legendary singer Asha Bhosle and ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas, creating an emotionally resonant atmosphere.
Young artists, some as young as 10, captivated audiences with their confident renditions of classic ghazals. Sonu Nigam delivered a particularly moving tribute to the late Pankaj Udhas, while Hariharan mesmerized with his soul-stirring performances.
