Khadijah Haqq-McCray is pursuing child and spousal support from her estranged husband, former NFL player Bobby McCray, approximately two years after their separation. According to recent court filings, Haqq-McCray is seeking $100,000 from McCray to cover attorney's fees. She detailed a stark contrast between their past affluent lifestyle and her current financial situation.

Haqq-McCray described a life of frequent international vacations, luxury vehicles, and extensive financial resources dedicated to their three children's private education and extracurricular activities. She noted that the majority of their community income stemmed from McCray's NFL payments, allowing them to live without significant debt. She claims her own income from various entertainment projects, including a recent reality series, has been insufficient to maintain this standard of living.

She stated that she has primarily cared for their children since their separation, managing school, activities, and appointments, which has limited her ability to pursue full-time employment. Haqq-McCray also highlighted her past role as a caretaker for McCray during his NFL career. She is currently reporting monthly expenses around $13,892.29, including rent and utilities, and has had to borrow money to cover these costs. McCray reportedly receives substantial monthly income from disability, NFL disability, and annuities, along with significant retirement funds.

Haqq-McCray has also accused McCray of blocking communication, making it difficult to coordinate matters concerning their children. She asserts that McCray is financially capable of meeting his own needs and contributing to the children's support, citing his reported monthly income and substantial retirement savings. Her legal action aims to secure financial support to properly care for their children and pursue additional employment opportunities.
