Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has provided an update on her health following a recent hospital admission. Katona was hospitalized after experiencing severe pain, which led to a diagnosis of colitis, an inflammatory condition affecting the colon and rectum.

After nearly three days in the hospital, a portion of which was spent in a corridor bed, Katona revealed her decision to seek private medical care. She was discharged with morphine and advised to adhere to a bland diet, a change she finds difficult due to her preference for spicy foods.

Her illness also led to her missing daughter Lilly's birthday celebrations. Despite this, Katona managed to celebrate with her daughter on her actual birthday by preparing a special spread and receiving videos from the event.

Katona also commented on celebrity rumors, expressing her belief that Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton would make a good couple. She mentioned feeling fatigued, a symptom she now attributes to her colitis diagnosis.
