Kerala's breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural tapestry are set to be showcased across India through the 'Lenscape Kerala' photo exhibition. Inaugurated on January 20th in New Delhi, the exhibition presents 100 carefully selected photographs captured by ten prominent travel and media photographers. This visual journey aims to spotlight the state's diverse offerings, from its lush landscapes to its vibrant cultural expressions.
The exhibition is more than just a display of scenic views; it captures the essence of Kerala as seen through the unique perspectives of the participating artists. Each photographer spent five days exploring different facets of the state, documenting themes such as wildlife, heritage, rural life, and spiritual experiences. Curated by Uma Nair and with Balan Madhavan as Director of Photography, the exhibition promises an immersive experience.
Following its opening in New Delhi, 'Lenscape Kerala' will travel to nine other major cities and state capitals, concluding its tour in Surat on March 31st. This initiative by the Kerala Tourism Department serves as a platform to celebrate the state's cultural diversity and encourage experiential tourism, guiding travelers to its unique destinations and festivals.
