Kerala Painters Unite for Creative 'Aakaar' Workshop

The initial phase of 'Aakaar', Kerala's state painters' creative workshop, is scheduled from Friday to Sunday. Hosted at the Aakaar Foundation for Architecture, Heritage and Art and Culture in T'puram, the event aims to foster collaboration among artists. Renowned artist B D Dethan will inaugurate the workshop, with sculptor Tensing Joseph elaborating on its concept.
Fourteen prominent painters, including Swathi Jai Kumar and Sreeja Pallam, will engage in creative painting sessions. The workshop also features philosophical presentations and discussions led by artists Ajayakumar Parippally and S Prasannakumar. Visiting artists may also participate in watercolour sessions upon prior notification.
The three-day event will culminate with a concluding address by artist Karakkamandapam Vijayakumar on Sunday, marking the end of this initial creative gathering.
