Kenny Loggins Marries Longtime Partner Lisa Hawkins

Veteran musician Kenny Loggins has revealed that he married his longtime partner, Lisa Hawkins, for the third time. The 78-year-old singer shared the personal news during an appearance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 17. He introduced Hawkins, acknowledging her as his wife during a Q&A session for his documentary, 'Kenny Loggins: Conviction of the Heart'.

The couple reportedly eloped to Hawaii, with a photograph from their trip featured in the documentary. This announcement comes approximately eight years into their relationship. Loggins had previously indicated that his relationship with Hawkins was a significant factor in his decision to step away from extensive touring.

This marks Loggins' third marriage. He was previously married to Eva Ein from 1978 to 1990, and then to Julia Cooper from 1992 until their divorce in 2004. He has five children from these previous relationships.

Loggins also spoke warmly about his stepdaughter, 25-year-old Hunter Hawkins, who has become a frequent musical collaborator. He expressed particular enjoyment in their joint performances and studio work, noting her ability to handle high notes and their shared creative process. The pair recently performed together at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June.

Despite stepping back from major touring after his 'This Is It' tour in 2023, Loggins continues to create music. He shared that creating music with family has become a particularly rewarding aspect of his current phase of life. He also humorously noted that his memory for musical details remains sharp, even as general memory fades with age.
