Kelsey Grammer has recently addressed speculation about his potential entry into politics. While the actor acknowledged past considerations and a persistent feeling of wanting to serve his country, he explicitly stated that he is not currently "hatching" any political aspirations.

Grammer, who is 71 years old, was in Washington D.C. for promotional activities related to his new movie, "Young Washington." During this visit, his discussions with the press about his political leanings apparently fueled rumors of a candidacy.

He had previously expressed to Us Weekly that a political bid might fulfill a sense of service he felt he missed by not serving in the military. Grammer also indicated he might wait until his younger children are older before considering such a move, asserting his vitality and readiness.

However, in subsequent comments to TMZ, Grammer downplayed these earlier remarks, asserting there was nothing concrete to share "yet." He reiterated a desire to serve in some capacity but denied any immediate plans for a political campaign.
