Kelsey Asbille Stars Opposite Schwarzenegger

Kelsey Asbille is set to star in her first acting role since the conclusion of Yellowstone, where her character Monica was notably killed off. Asbille will appear alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth in the action film 'The Kellys.' Amazon MGM has acquired worldwide streaming rights for the production.

The plot of 'The Kellys' centers on Jack Kelly, a former New York City police officer who must collaborate with his adversaries to rescue his wife, Molly, after she is taken hostage. This new venture represents Asbille's initial project following the filming wrap of the Paramount Network series in December 2024.

Fans of Yellowstone experienced Monica's death in the spinoff 'Marshals,' despite her appearing alive with Kayce at the end of the main series. Showrunner Spencer Hudnut explained that Monica's demise was designed to propel Kayce's narrative forward, shaping his path as he honors his mother's memory and protects their son, Tate. Asbille, while not commenting on her character's death, has permitted the use of her likeness for onscreen depictions in 'Marshals.'
