Mark Consuelos suggested they give each other the 'gift of freedom,' meaning no gifts would be purchased. Kelly embraced the idea, humorously noting that this effectively eliminates four gifts from their exchange list. This new approach is a departure from their usual Christmas routine.

Furthermore, the couple plans to extend this tradition to their adult children.
