Clarkson stated that such positive affirmations make people feel good, questioning the rationale behind HR's restrictive approach. She announced in February that 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' would conclude its seventh season, a decision she attributed to prioritizing her children. This move comes after the death of her ex-husband and former manager. The singer noted that her departure from the show was difficult due to its success and the impact on her crew, whom she views as family. However, her role as a mother ultimately guided her decision.

Clarkson also described her colleagues' negative reactions to her participation in HR meetings, as she tended to be overly analytical and question the instructors. She admitted to being a "nerd" who would delve deeply into the material to ensure everyone's protection. Despite the challenges of ending the show, Clarkson emphasized that the decision was ultimately easy because of her commitment to her children. Her Las Vegas residency, 'Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions,' is scheduled to run through August 15th.
