Kelela Drops New Track 'Outta Time'

Kelela has released "Outta Time," a new song from her upcoming album, "New Avatar." The track features A.K. Paul, known for his work with his brother Jai Paul. The accompanying video depicts Kelela and Paul in a studio, visually representing the end of a difficult relationship.

Kelela revealed that "Outta Time" was originally written during the sessions for her 2016 album, "Take Me Apart." She intentionally held onto the song, stating a need to "build a house for this song that gives its sound more context." This deliberate approach underscores her artistic vision for the project.

The album "New Avatar" is slated for release on July 10th. Following the album's debut, Kelela is set to embark on her first international tour since 2023, marking a significant return to global stages.
