Keke Palmer No-Show at Emmys, Marcello Hernández Presents Solo

Marcello Hernández presented the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series solo at the recent Emmy Awards ceremony, as co-presenter Keke Palmer did not attend. Hernández, a star from Saturday Night Live, stepped in to announce the winner, Hiro Murai, for his work on Widow's Bay. During his time on stage, Hernández engaged the audience by greeting notable figures like Harrison Ford, Zendaya, and Oscar Isaac. He also humorously invited Tom Holland and Zendaya to dinner. Palmer's absence was noted just hours after she had promoted her upcoming podcast interview with Octavia Spencer.

The actress's show, The 'Burbs, had previously been nominated for an Emmy, though it did not win.
