Keertika Gupta Joins 'Shrimati Shukla' as Ravi's College Flame

Keertika Gupta is set to join the ongoing TV show 'Shrimati Shukla' as Anita Arya, a character who is positioned to shift the equation between Ravi Shukla (Kapil Arya) and his wife. Anita is Ravi's college friend and former love interest, hailing from an army background. She is described as a positive, educated, and modern independent working woman.

Keertika's entry into the show is expected to bring new twists and entertainment, as Ravi's relationship with his wife is not a happy one. The actress, known for shows like 'Mere Dad Ki Dulhan', 'Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal', and 'Ladies Special', is making a comeback to television after a brief gap of almost one and a half years due to health issues.

Prior to this role, Keertika had been actively pursuing work, meeting with various production houses. Fortunately, she received a call from the makers of 'Shrimati Shukla' for this parallel lead role, which she describes as a powerful and promising part. Keertika has also appeared in a short-format series with Sunny Leone, played the lead in 'Bloody Birthday', and will soon be seen in the Bollywood film 'Tavvai'.
