Keanu Reeves portrays Reef Hawk, a veteran Hollywood star grappling with addiction recovery and an extortion scheme. The dark comedy "Outcome," directed by Jonah Hill, sees Reef discover a plot involving a potentially damaging video from his past. He seeks to identify the blackmailer with the help of his friends, played by Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer, and his lawyer, portrayed by Hill.
The film's synopsis indicates Reef will undertake a soul-searching mission to make amends and uncover the extortionist.
