Broadcaster Kaye Adams has spoken out about the "malicious stories" circulating regarding her exit from BBC Scotland. Adams, 63, addressed several accusations on Instagram, firmly denying claims that she berated an intern or used a misogynistic slur.
She stated emphatically that she did not use the alleged slur, which she claims was invented more than a decade later. Adams also refuted the idea of berating an intern and found the allegation of throwing a pencil while alone in a studio absurd.
Adams revealed she was "heartbroken" that her 15 years of "hard work and dedication" to BBC Scotland were being overshadowed by these allegations. The BBC confirmed Adams would not return to her morning programme, having been taken off air last year. Adams has also appeared on shows like Loose Women and competed in Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity MasterChef.
