Katy Perry Honors Dolly Parton in Epic Mexican Show

Katy Perry captivated a massive audience of 310,000 people with a free concert at the Feria Nacional Potosina in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on August 25, 2026. This performance was one of the largest of her career.

During the two-hour show, Perry performed many of her greatest hits, including "California Gurls" and "Roar." A particularly moving moment occurred when she paid tribute to the recently deceased country music legend, Dolly Parton.

The concert, streamed online, also featured Perry interacting with fans, speaking some Spanish, and dedicating a song to her daughter, Daisy Dove, on her birthday. She also invited local fans who had waited for days to join her on stage.

Governor Ricardo Gallardo highlighted the concert's significance, stating it reinforces Mexico's prominent position in the global entertainment scene, particularly within Latin America. Perry had previously performed in Mexico earlier in 2026 as part of her "The Lifetimes Tour."
