Global phenomenon KATSEYE recently graced the Saturday Night Live stage for their debut performance, showcasing two tracks from their latest EP, "Wild." This appearance adds to their growing list of U.S. television milestones, following recent features on "The Tonight Show" and the "Today" show.
The EP "Wild," released in August, has propelled KATSEYE to new commercial heights, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with an impressive 170,000 first-week units. This achievement marks their first chart-topper and represents the biggest sales week for an all-female group in years. The lead single, "Animal," co-written by Ed Sheeran, also achieved a career-high entry on the Hot 100 chart.
KATSEYE's rapid rise began two years ago with their formation through the Dream Academy reality competition. Their 2025 EP "Beautiful Chaos" previously reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200, and its singles earned them Grammy nominations. Now, with over 30 million monthly Spotify listeners, they are recognized as one of the most commercially successful girl groups globally.
The group is currently in the midst of their 31-date "Wildworld Tour." Having kicked off in Europe, the tour will proceed to North America in October, starting in Miami, and will conclude in Mexico City in late November.
