Katseye Faces Festival Setback Amidst Member Health Woes
30 Aug
Summary
- Katseye canceled their festival performance due to a sprained ankle.
- Two members are currently on hiatus for mental and physical health.
- Sofia Laforteza's mother detailed her daughter's burnout recovery efforts.

Girl group Katseye was forced to withdraw from the Daisy Fields festival on August 27 due to a recent ankle injury sustained by member Megan Skiendiel. Two other members, Manon Bannerman and Sofia Laforteza, are currently on extended hiatuses. Bannerman stepped away in February for mental and physical health reasons, while Laforteza announced her own break on August 7.
Skiendiel's injury means the group is currently without all of its members for live performances. Laforteza's mother, Carla Guevara Laforteza, shared with Vogue Philippines that her daughter is dedicated to her recovery from burnout. This regimen reportedly includes daily baking, painting, and visits to Disneyland.
