Katie Holmes recently presented a masterclass in styling satin for both daytime and evening occasions. She attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her new movie, "Happy Hours," on Saturday. For this event, Holmes chose a pale blush silk satin gown from Chloé, featuring a lace-trimmed collar and puff sleeves, evoking a vintage feel.

Complementing the romantic gown, she accessorized with gold-studded Chloé pumps and a white rectangular clutch. Following the premiere, Holmes transitioned to an after-party at the Soho Grand Hotel. There, she donned a dusty pink slipdress by Magda Butrym, artfully layered over a white tank top and black leather pants.

Her after-party ensemble maintained the elegance with the same clutch and ivory pointed-toe mules. Holmes shared her affection for her character's wardrobe in "Happy Hours," noting her desire to keep pieces from her roles. She also expressed joy in reuniting with co-star Joshua Jackson for the film.
