Comedian Katherine Ryan has disclosed the details of a £16,000 full facelift and accompanying procedures she underwent in December 2025, shortly after the birth of her fourth child, Holland. The surgery, which included a fat transfer to her cheekbones and a blepharoplasty, was performed in York.
Ryan, 42, described the facelift as a means to metaphorically reclaim her autonomy and her face from before the COVID-19 pandemic and six pregnancies over five years. She emphasized that her goal was not to turn back the clock significantly but to regain a sense of her pre-pandemic self.
She detailed a surprisingly smooth recovery, experiencing only minor swelling and bruising. Within days of the procedure, Ryan attended Christmas parties and managed her newborn, relying on over-the-counter pain relief. She noted that she even brought her then-eight-week-old daughter Holland with her to York for the surgery.
