Her hair was styled in a half-up, half-down do, and she sported minimal makeup, accentuating her natural beauty.

This event follows a significant change in Ritchie's career earlier in the year. In January, her breakfast radio show, 'Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie,' was axed. The show was replaced by a new program hosted by Ricki-Lee Coulter and Tim Blackwell. Ritchie and her former co-hosts, Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli, were subsequently moved to a national Drive timeslot from 4-6 pm.

Ritchie expressed her enthusiasm for the new national Drive timeslot, stating she was thrilled to share their show with all of Australia. She also mentioned looking forward to adjusting her schedule, which would allow her to be present for school drop-offs again while entertaining listeners on their commute home.
