Kate Bush's iconic 1980s track, "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)," has once again secured the top position on Billboard's Top TV Songs chart for December 2025. This marks the second consecutive month the song has held the number one spot, largely driven by its prominent placement in Netflix's popular series, Stranger Things. The song's resurgence began with its feature in the show's fourth season, which not only propelled it onto the TV Songs chart but also brought it back to the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 3 in July 2022. The track continued its presence throughout Stranger Things' fifth and final season. In December 2025 alone, "Running Up That Hill" garnered 21.3 million U.S. streams and 5,000 downloads, re-entering the Hot 100 at No. 46. The December 2025 chart also highlighted other songs benefiting from TV synchs. Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" landed at No. 2 with 24.4 million streams, while Prince's "Purple Rain" and "When Doves Cry" secured spots at No. 5 and No. 10, respectively. The series Heated Rivalry also made a significant impact, with three songs charting in the top six, including two versions of "All the Things She Said." Music from Fallout, Watson, and St. Denis Medical also featured in the top 10.
