For the first time, the prominent Hindu pilgrimage sites of Kashi and Mathura are joining forces to celebrate Rangbhari Ekadashi this Friday. This significant occasion marks the divine return of Lord Shiva to Kashi following his marriage to Goddess Parvati, also coinciding with Vishnu worship, thus creating a unique confluence of Shaiva and Vaishnava traditions.

As part of this historic inter-faith exchange, Kashi Vishwanath Temple will send colors and gulal to Vrindavan. In return, a troupe of folk artistes from Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple will travel to Kashi on Thursday. They will present traditional 'raas' and flower Holi celebrations, along with gifts for Laddu Gopal, including clothes, fruits, flowers, toys, chocolates, and sweets.
