Kartik Aaryan Begins Filming 'Naagzilla', His Mystical Serpent Role

As of November 4, 2025, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has officially commenced filming for his next project, 'Naagzilla'. The makers of the film, including producer Karan Johar, have shared a video showcasing the team performing a puja to mark the start of the highly anticipated shoot.

Kartik himself took to social media to share a picture from the sets, holding the clapperboard. In his caption, he noted that this day also marks the one-year anniversary of the release of his blockbuster film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. In 'Naagzilla', Kartik will be stepping into the role of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an Ichhadhari Naag or mystical serpent. The actor's first look as this character was unveiled back in April 2025.

Karan Johar had previously shared the motion poster for 'Naagzilla', describing it as "the first epic from Naag Lok" and promising that the film will showcase "fun and chaos" as Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand slithers into theaters on August 14, 2026. The film is being produced by Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Sujit Jain.
