Kannada Star Kichcha Sudeep Joins Tamil Film 'Arasan'

In the Tamil cinema landscape, the big project currently underway is 'Arasan,' directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vetri Maaran. The latest development is the inclusion of Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep in the cast, which is expected to add significant strength to the film.

Sudeep has been confirmed to play two different characters in 'Arasan' – a young Silambarasan and a 45-year-old version of the lead actor. The promo shooting for the film has already been completed in two phases in Chennai, and the first look poster has been unveiled, teasing an intense action drama.

Initially, there were discussions about casting Rana Daggubati or either Upendra or Kichcha Sudeep from the Kannada film industry for this role. However, Sudeep's previous experience working with the film's production house, Thanu, is said to have given him the edge.

The 'Arasan' promo is scheduled to be released on October 16th, which happens to be composer Anirudh's birthday. This collaboration between Silambarasan, Vetri Maaran, and Anirudh is highly anticipated by fans. The first full-fledged schedule of the film will commence after the Diwali festival, and the official cast and crew list is expected to be announced soon.
