Kannada Actor Hariprashanth Shines in Blockbuster 'Kantara'

Kannada actor Hariprashanth MG has emerged as one of the most compelling performers in South Indian cinema, leaving his mark with roles in both Malayalam and Kannada films. In the past year, he has gained widespread recognition for his powerful portrayal of King Vijayendra in the blockbuster Kannada film 'Kantara: Chapter 1'.

Hariprashanth's character plays a crucial role in the past events that shape the story of 'Kantara'. Director Rishab Shetty invited the actor to be part of the film after being impressed by his performance in the Malayalam movie 'Malaikottai Vaaliban'. Though Hariprashanth's screen time in 'Kantara' was limited, his character remained a strong presence throughout the film.

Recounting his experience, Hariprashanth shares that the filming process was spread out over a year and two months, with his scenes shot across multiple locations. One of the most challenging aspects was a scene involving a horse, as Hariprashanth had minimal prior experience with horse-riding. However, Rishab Shetty's guidance and expertise in the field helped the actor pull off the scene seamlessly.

Despite the rumors surrounding accidents and deaths during the 'Kantara' shoot, Hariprashanth dismisses these as baseless, emphasizing the crew's deep respect for the film's cultural and spiritual elements. The actor is grateful to have his name appear on screen alongside established stars like Jayaram, and he is overwhelmed by the positive response the film has received since its release.
