The film 'Maatrubhumi' draws inspiration from the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. Salman Khan portrays an Indian Army officer, a role dedicated to Maha Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu. The narrative also incorporates accounts from Shiv Aroor's book 'India's Most Fearless'.
