Kalyani Priyadarshan Moves to Mumbai for Zombie Thriller

Kalyani Priyadarshan has reportedly relocated to Mumbai to focus entirely on her debut Hindi film, 'Pralay.' The actor is preparing extensively for her role in Jai Mehta's zombie thriller, where she co-stars with Ranveer Singh. She has rented an apartment in the Juhu area to facilitate her commitment to the project.

The preparation for 'Pralay' has been rigorous for Priyadarshan, who began action training in May and adopted a specialized diet. She and co-star Ranveer Singh have participated in multiple script readings and rehearsals. The first filming schedule was completed before Singh took paternity leave.

Production is slated to recommence in October and continue through December, keeping Priyadarshan based in Mumbai. The role requires her to maintain a lean physique for the demanding zombie thriller. This move also allows her to explore further career opportunities in both Hindi and South Indian cinema.

Priyadarshan shared her dedication to 'Pralay' on Instagram during Onam, despite missing family celebrations. Her recent films include 'Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira' and 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra.'
