Actress Kaley Cuoco has revealed the profound impact of her 2022 divorce on her mental health, describing a period of intense depression. During the premiere of the second season of 'The Flight Attendant' in April 2022, Cuoco experienced what she called her 'lowest point.'
She recalled waking up "so depressed and so sad I couldn't even breathe," lying on the floor and believing she was going to die. This occurred on what was meant to be a celebratory night for her career. Cuoco's team had to assist her in getting ready for the event.
Despite feeling her life was over and that she would never marry or have children again, Cuoco met her now-fiancé, actor Tom Pelphrey, just three weeks after this devastating morning. She reflected that this difficult experience ultimately transformed her into a "whole new person."
Cuoco, who also previously married to Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2015, and then to Karl Cook in 2022, welcomed a daughter with Pelphrey in March 2023 and they became engaged in August 2024. She emphasizes that it is okay to change one's mind about major life decisions like marriage.
