Mammootty's film Kalamkaval has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing the 65 crore mark at the global box office by its eighth day. The neo-noir thriller has demonstrated strong performance since its opening week, continuing to draw audiences in its second week.
Domestically, the film earned 1.65 crore on its second Friday, marking a modest 17.5% decrease from the previous day. This brings its total Indian net collection to 27.95 crore, equating to 32.98 crore gross. The overseas market has also contributed significantly, amassing 33.5 crore gross, leading to a robust 8-day worldwide gross of 66.48 crore.
With this impressive collection, Kalamkaval is currently the seventh-highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025. It is on track to soon claim the sixth position, currently held by Alappuzha Gymkhana with 72.21 crore gross, a gap expected to be bridged within the next few days.
