The Kala Sangam cultural program has officially begun at the Parade Ground in the Magh Mela area of Prayagraj. Organized by the Uttar Pradesh Department of Culture, this vibrant event is set to showcase the talents of more than 120 artists. The festivities commenced on Sunday, with the renowned folk singer Malini Awasthi delivering a captivating performance of devotional songs.
The opening day featured a diverse range of artistic expressions. Audiences were enthralled by the devotional folk songs presented by Uday Chandra Pardeshi and his team. Another highlight was the unique conch shell performance by Ram Janam's team from Varanasi, adding a distinct traditional flavor to the event. A total of six distinct performances marked the successful inauguration of the program.
The Kala Sangam is scheduled to continue its celebrations until January 30. Hosted by Abha Madhur, the program aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh through various artistic mediums.
